A psychology-focused workshop I co-organized, titled “From Stress to Strength,” aimed at educating participants on stress management. It featured interactive sessions, including a candle-making activity where participants learned about the effects of stress.
Our guest speaker provided deep insights into how stress impacts mental health, fostering a supportive environment for attendees.
This experience honed my skills in event planning and helped create a safe space for participants to reflect on their mental health journeys.
This project celebrates the richness of Vietnam’s Nguyễn Dynasty heritage. I led a team that explored traditional art and culture through hands-on experiences.
Our most notable event, “A Journey Through Vietnam’s Central Highlands,” featured activities such as gong performances, brocade weaving, and traditional rice wine brewing. We also raised funds to provide meals and gifts to over 1,000 ethnic minority students.
This project helped me understand the importance of preserving cultural history while providing for those in need.
As part of this initiative, I designed and painted traditional Vietnamese motifs, such as dragons and lotuses, on hyacinth bags. These bags were sold to raise funds for mental health organizations.
I managed product development, organized events, and secured sponsorships to expand the project’s reach.
This project not only allowed me to express my creativity but also to merge art with social good.
In July 2024, I founded Hue’s Cultural Journey, an initiative aimed at celebrating the rich artistic heritage of Vietnam, particularly the intricate patterns of the Nguyễn Dynasty. I organized an immersive tour to the Hue Citadel, where participants could explore not only the historical significance of the site but also engage with the fine arts that define our culture.
During the tour, we delved into the fascinating history behind traditional motifs, visiting artisans who still practice age-old crafts. Participants had the opportunity to create their own art inspired by what they learned, fostering a deeper appreciation for our cultural roots.
This project also serves a greater purpose: it lays the groundwork for a business venture involving water hyacinth bags. Profits from the sales of these bags will be directed towards supporting children with autism, demonstrating how cultural appreciation can intertwine with community support. Through Hue’s Cultural Journey, I aim to create not.
I co-founded Hearing and Healing, a project focused on emotional healing through music. We organized a unique workshop where participants anonymously shared their personal stories, and chose songs that resonated with their experiences.
As the event’s vocalist and pianist, I had the opportunity to bring comfort and connection through music. This project taught me the power of emotional support, how art can heal, and how stories help build empathy.
